Aged 16 Rolf performed in the Lower Gardes Park in Bournemouth on his guitar. This was the start to being invited to a Londoner mutual friend – Bill Bruford, the drummer of „YES“.

Now, „Owner of a lonely Heart“ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELpmmeT69cE  was not written by Rolf, hence he writes the songs for 2^nd truth.

The „second truth“ of 2^nd truth means for the band honest, self-composed rock songs with lots of love and groove. Listening to them, you feel yourself transported back to Woodstock, Beat-Club or Rockpalace.

Through their very own style, the trio constantly redefines the borders between blues and rock as they go. Having the biggest audience during a charity concert in January 2016 in Ebersbach was the answer to their unique style. Im Alter von 16 Jahren hat Rolf im Lower Gardes Park in Bournemouth auf seiner Gitarre Ravi Shankar interpretiert, daraufhin wurde er von einem gemeinsamen Freund zu Bill Bruford, dem Schlagzeuger von YES, nach London eingeladen.

Second Truth ist die 2. Wahrheit, dies bedeutet für die Band ehrliche, selbst komponierte Rocksongs mit viel Gefühl und Groove zu spielen. Man fühlt sich in die Zeit von Woodstock, dem Beat-Club oder Rockpalast versetzt.

Durch den eigenständigen Stil des Trios, das die Grenzen zwischen Blues und Rock stetig neu definiert, haben es 2nd truth geschafft die meisten Zuschauer beim Benefizkonzert im Januar 2016 in Ebersbach zu bekommen.
